Rabbi Shmuel Osher Begun Z"L was a true pioneer of Mitzva Tank activities in Brazil, traveling through remote towns in the 1980s and bringing light and inspiration to places few had ever reached. The souls he touched continue to shine today, carrying forward the flame he ignited.
To those closest to him, he was affectionately known as Shmulosher or simply Shmul. His presence radiated devotion, joy, and purpose.
This club was founded on his birthday — a tribute to his soul and his mission. Every gesture, every donation, every act of kindness continues the path he began: spreading life, strength, and love to every corner of the world.
